Description
The Enerpac PA-133 single-speed hydraulic air pump is for lifting, bolting, or applying pressure with a hydraulic cylinder (sold separately) in plant maintenance, fabrication, production, bolting, vehicle repair, and other applications where compressed air is the preferred power source. It has a three-way control valve for advancing, releasing, or holding a single-acting cylinder. This single-speed pump is for applications with a constantly applied load. The pump is controlled by a treadle that can be operated by hand or by foot. The pump can be operated in either a horizontal or vertical orientation. A swivel coupling provides access to hydraulic connection and pump operation. An internal pressure relief valve helps protect the pump from overload. The pump has base mounting slots. The pump has 3/8" and 1/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads ports for connecting to an air supply or attaching a hose or gauge (sold separately).SpecificationsMaximum operating pressure10,000 pounds per square inch (psi)Maximum output flow rate, per minute, at 0 psi (100 psi inlet pressure)40 cubic inchesMaximum output flow rate, per minute, at 10,000 psi (100 psi inlet pressure)8 cubic inchesUsable oil capacity36 cubic inchesInlet air-pressure range60 to 120 psiAir consumption, at 100 psi9 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm)Maximum operating noise level85 decibels (A)Valve type3-wayWeight12 lb.Dimensions5.71 x 5.62 x 14.69 inches (H x W x D)H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from back to front.Hydraulic pumps lift, bolt, or apply pressure to objects by pressurizing and moving hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pump consists of a base, a reservoir that holds hydraulic fluid, and an operating mechanism, such as a handle or foot pedal, an electric motor, compressed air, or a gasoline engine. When the operating mechanism is activated, pressurized hydraulic fluid from the reservoir is delivered through an attached hose to a hydraulic cylinder. The pressurized hydraulic fluid in the cylinder lifts the cylinder’s piston, which in turn lifts the load. Hydraulic hand pumps are usually made of steel, or aluminum and nylon, and can be single-speed or two-speed. They are used in a wide range of applications, such as construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications in both industrial and home settings. Enerpac manufactures industrial hydraulic equipment for lifting, workholding, and other applications, and provides integrated lifting solutions for bridge construction, mining, shipbuilding, and other industries. The company, founded in 1959, is headquartered in Menominee Falls, WI.
