Simply pull out the exact amount of cord you need and when you're done, all of the cord winds back up inside the heavy-duty polymer housing. The outlet bar even has a built-in LED status light to let you know you have power. This product is designed to be attached to a tall ceiling and have at least 10 or 15-feet of cord hanging down. Mounting brackets that allow it to be attached to the wall or ceiling are included.
