We've condensed the robust power cable feed from our larger machines and integrated it into the Super-Vee, providing an unprecedented combination of feeding speed and handheld convenience for power drain cleaning.
This tool proves to be an absolute time-saver, especially in confined or awkward spaces, essentially acting as an additional helping hand. Initiating cable feed is as straightforward as starting the Power-Vee and squeezing the feed lever; to retract, simply reverse the motor and squeeze the lever. The feed effortlessly handles 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" cables, eliminating the need for adjustments, disassembly, or additional components.
Switching between drain cables of different diameters is simplified with Quick Change Cable Cartridges. Loosen three screws, remove the front of the drum, load a new cartridge, and you're done in under a minute, transforming what could be a messy task into a tidy one. The machine can accommodate 50 ft. of 1/4" or 5/16" cables or 35 ft. of 3/8" Flexicore cables.
To minimize excessive water spray from the spinning drum, the Power-Vee features the innovative Band-It™ splashguard. Its Dyna-Thrust™ bearing system plays a crucial role in supporting the drum's weight, significantly reducing wear on the motor shaft bearing and prolonging the tool's lifespan. The durable heavy-gauge stamped aluminum drum further underscores the Power-Vee's robustness. And, naturally, the cables are Flexicore® with an integrated wire rope center, showcasing General's unparalleled expertise in cable manufacturing.

Cartridge Refill
To switch to a different diameter cable (or even connect two 3/8” cables together), you just loosen three screws, pull the front of the drum off the cable, and load another cartridge. Changing takes less than a minute and turns what could be a messy job into a clean one. The tough plastic cartridges are so inexpensive, you’ll probably want to store all of your cables in them.
Flexicore®Cable
Heavy gauge wire is coiled around 49 strand wire rope and then heat treated. This cable has unequaled strength and the right amount of flexibility. It’s so tough, it has a one-year warranty against defect or breakage.
